Kylian Mbappe turns up to support Mamadou Sakho’s wife at Paris Fashion Week

Mamadou Sakho’s wife received support from the best young football player in the world when her new clothing range was launched at Paris Fashion Week. Kylian Mbappe turned up to accompany his international team-mate and his partner, Majda, in the French capital on Tuesday. The trio posed for pictures together and Mbappe was given a personal tour of Majda’s collection. dailymail

Sakho and Mbappe were both part of the most recent French squad, which faced Holland in the Nations League and Uruguay in a friendly last November. The Crystal Palace defender has battled back into Didier Deschamps’ reckoning after missing the cut for the World Cup last summer. But he told Sportsmail this week that there are no regrets over missing the historic success in Russia. ‘I never regret anything in my life,’ said Sakho. ‘If something is for you in life, you will get it.

‘Even if all the world is against you, if it is for you, you will get it. If it’s not for you, why do you weep? I just follow my destiny. Life is short. Football is short. ‘We have to be positive. We are here to give smiles, a good spectacle. Everything in life, whether it’s good or bad, just take it and look at the solutions. ‘You can stay in the same place and start to cry, but that will not change the future.’

Thomas Tuchel today said when asked about the best player he has worked with that “Kylian is exceptional, but Neymar and Cavani are also up there. Incredible players. I don’t like phrases like ‘the best’ or ‘better than’. We’ve very happy with our players. “Everyone in the locker room knows how reliable and super important Mbappe is, but I don’t rank players. He still has things he needs to improve, even if that’s hard to believe!
