Two Real Madrid players to move to Chelsea to complete Hazard move

Real Madrid stars Isco and Mateo Kovacic could both join Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer with Eden Hazard going the other way. The Blues’ star forward is finally set to secure his dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu side at the end of the season. The Belgian captain has dropped the biggest hint yet his future lies away from Stamford Bridge. He revealed in an interview: “My future? I know what I’m going to do. I decided.”

Chelsea have failed to tie the Belgium international, 28, down to a new long-term deal. And with his contract due to expire in the summer of 2020, the Blues are preparing to cash in on £100m-rated Hazard. Starsport understands the player wants to go and will have just 12 months left on his deal this summer, so Chelsea are already eyeing up replacements.

One potential scenario could see them land Hazard’s successor in an exchange with Real. The Sun suggest Hazard’s arrival could spell the end of Isco’s spell in Madrid, and could be sent to Chelsea in a player-plus-cash deal. Taking the Spain international, 26, as part of the Hazard deal with Real would provide the Blues with an immediate solution.

Isco has fallen out of favour massively at Real under Santiago Solari but remains highly rated throughout Europe and Chelsea would have a star attacker and creative playmaker to build their team around. As well as Isco, The Sun add Real are also likely to allow midfielder Kovacic to make his Stamford Bridge loan permanent too.

The Croatia international forced through a move to west London to get more regular game time off the back of his run to the World Cup final in Russia. Kovacic has enjoyed his time under Maurizio Sarri and the 24-year-old signing too this summer would help further soften the blow of losing Hazard. If the two Real stars were to join, it is expected that would convince Chelsea to cash in on budding youngstar Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Despite fighting off repeated bids from Bayern Munich in January, the 18-year-old handed in a transfer request and is refusing to put pen to paper on a new contract. With his current one expiring in 2020, just like Hazard’s, the £45m Bayern are offering is likely to be enough. Eden Hazard, Mateo Kovacic and Hudson-Odoi could all feature for Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea on Sunday when they go to Manchester City. Chelsea won the reverse fixture one nil at Stamford Bridge.
